‘They need someone who can believably act 19 and bonkers.’ David was told. ‘That could be me!’ he said. David turned up with his long, dark hair swept back and looking like a typical skinny, scruffy student in a baggy purple sweater and jeans. But when he started to speak he was mesmerising. The director and the rest of the team were blown away by David’s audition. He won the role and was signed up for the full series. Is it just me, or is David Tennant in Takin’ Over The Asylum the most adorable thing ever?
